Manila Water Foundation, Healthy and Pure Water extend support to medical frontliners

PASIG CITY, May 6 (PIA) -- The Manila Water Foundation (MWF) and Healthy and Pure Water continue to support medical frontliners amid the COVID-19 pandemic by providing safe, pure drinking water.

Recently, the Manila Water Foundation and Healthy and Pure Water distributed 500 gallons of drinking water and water dispensers to major hospitals in Quezon City.

A total of 100 five-gallon pieces were distributed to the Lung Center of the Philippines, Philippine Heart Center, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, East Avenue Medical Center, and Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

According to the Manila Water Foundation, the activity aims to bring aid to healthcare workers amid the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila.

It will also help hospital doctors, nurses and staff stay hydrated during this time of national health emergency.
