CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, May 28 (PIA) - The Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) here has reported that 57, 909 or 37.2 percent of the total population of the province have received first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
Dr. Nelson Paguirirgan, Isabela Provincial Health officer, said that among the total vaccinated with first dose of COVID - 19 vaccines belonged to the Priority Eligible Group (A1) or frontline health workers with a total of 83.86 percent, 13.92 percent fromo A2 or senior citizens, and 37.42 percent from A3 or persons with comorbidity.
Paguirigan said that of the total individuals inoculated with first dose of Covid-19 vaccines, 16.47 percent of them have already completed the second dose as IPHO continues its campaign in encouraging Isabelenos to be vaccinated.
Meanwhile, Dr. Arlene Lazaro, chairperson of the COVID-19 Vaccination Program of the provincial government, said that the vaccines provided by the national government through the Department of Health (DOH) were used for priority population based on the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) guidelines.
She urged Isabeleños to get vaccinated through the 100 designated vaccination sites to ensure the smooth flow of trhe vaccination program in Isabela. (BME/MGE - PIA-2/Isabela)
