DAVAO CITY, June 4 (PIA) – Dr. Jaime Marcelo Razo, chief of the Davao del Sur Provincial Hospital, reported that all departments and sections in the hospital, including the machineries and facilities, are fully functional.
Razo said that the hospital’s general ICU (intensive care unit) is open and can accommodate patients, however, he added that there are limitations due to the existing protocols on the COVID-19 pandemic.
In terms of COVID-19 facilities, he bared that the hospital has Covid ward with a 30-bed capacity, which is in accordance to the requirement of the Department of Health.
The operating room has three fully-functional operating theaters equipped with competitive equipment and has specialists to perform the procedures, Razo disclosed. (PIA-XI/Antonino S. Oblianda)
