PASIG CITY, June 5 (PIA) -- The City Government of Makati further intensifies its crackdown on business establishements operating in the city but lack credentials to run legally.
In a Facebook post, the local government said the city’s Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) recently closed down Ju Xin Restaurant for violating Section 4A.01 of the Revised Makati Revenue Code or operating without a valid business permit
Aside from the violation, the city’s Veterinary Services Department also seized banned pork products from the same Chinese restaurant located at Brgy. Tejeros.
City operatives raided the establishment as part of measures to ensure strict compliance to local laws.
The said restaurant will remain closed until the violations are corrected.
Makati City Mayor Abby Binay has ordered the intensified crackdown to restore order and discipline and protect the interest of legitimate businesses in the city and the general public. (PIA NCR)
