PCSO Cagayan releases P5M worth of endowment fund to CVMC

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, June 2 (PIA) - - - Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Cagayan branch general manager Heherson Pambid on Tuesday turned over P5 million worth of endowment fund to the Cagayan Valley Medical Center in Tuguegarao City.

Receiving the check was Catherine Mendoza, head of Social Services in behalf of the hospital’s chief, Dr. Glenn Mathew Baggao.

Pambid said the endowment fund aims to augment the limited financial resources of the hospital and to alleviate health spending of their charity/service patients.

He added that the grant shall be utilized exclusively for medical/hospital/laboratory, including medical services for the benefit of indigent charity patients confined in the hospital and for outpatients accessing hospital medical services at CVMC.

The Endowment Fund Program Partner Hospital is a reliable partner of the government in giving much-needed medical and health services to the poor and disadvantaged patients, which signified its intent and willingness to be PCSO’s partner in the implementation of the EFP.

CVMC shall be given one year to utilize the grant. Any remainder which will not be utilized shall be returned to PCSO. (MDCT/PIA-2)
