The parade grounds of Quirino Grandstand in Luneta Park Manila will be closed to traffic from midnight on Oct. 13 until Oct. 14 for the 45th Anniversary of Jesus is Lord Church, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
The parade grounds will also be cleared from parked vehicles before midnight on Oct. 13. Road closures will be implemented along Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak to South Road/Kalaw on Oct. 14.
MMDA chairman Romando Artes said to manage traffic and assist motorists, a total of 162 MMDA traffic personnel will be deployed in the affected areas.
The agency will also dispatch first aid responders and ambulances to respond to emergencies; and put up barricades and road signages, plastic barriers, and traffic cones to guide the motorists.
Members of the Metro Parkways Clearing Group together with the Manila City Department of Services (DPS) will be in charge of cleaning and clearing of clutters after the activity.
