Ifugao PLGU resumes 'Oplan Gawid' program for LSIs

LAGAWE, Ifugao, May 29 (PIA) - - Other stranded Ifugaos in various places due to the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine will be finally  home in the coming days as the Provincial Local Government  unit (PLGU)  resumes the  “Oplan Gawid” program.

The PLGU in partnership with local government units   scheduled this week to bring home locally stranded individual (LSI) who were not accommodated in the first batch.

LSIs in   the National Capital Region, Central Luzon, Baguio City and Benguet   were set to be ferried on May 28    while those in the Calabarzon areas are scheduled on May 29.  

LSIs should secure the necessary documents like medical clearance certification and travel authority from the concerned authorities in their current location pursuant to National Task Force guidelines.

Only those who received confirmatory text or call are allowed to board the bus. Recent coordination with municipal contact persons can be considered as long as there is proper coordination for the processing of required documents to be presented during pick-up time in designated areas.

The municipal health officers of the 11 towns will determine if these locally stranded individuals will undergo either facility-based or home-based quarantine. (JDP/MBL-PIA CAR, Ifugao)
