27 individuals in Abra town finish computer literacy training 

LAGAYAN, Abra, Aug. 5(PIA) -- Amid the Corona Virus -19 pandemic, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in Abra(TESDA-Abra) continues its training programs  for local government units.

On July 24, TESDA-Abra culminated its five-day Computer Literacy Training at the Lagayan Central School Gymnasium. 27 trainees finished the community-based training. Eight of them  are  drug surrenderees, nine are  employees of  LGU  Lagayan and the rest are  barangay secretaries and treasurers.

TESDA Technical Support Staff Julius Niko Lagundino and Department of Information and Communication Technology  Provincial Officer Rufino Cabato. A barangay secretary-trainee  expressed her gratitude to the trainers and shared the importance of mastering computer techniques especially during this pandemic since everyone is  now   working and learning in various online platforms.

In his message, Cabato  said  DICT-Abra is always ready and available to assist and support Information and Communications Technology-related activities of LGUs and other government agencies for the enhancement of public services in the province. (JDP/XADC – PIA CAR,Abra)
