SK Sta. Catalina offers free e-load to studes for online classes

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Aug. 25 (PIA) - - - To enable the students to cope with online classes and submit requirements before the extended second semester, the Sangguniang Kabataan of barangay Sta. Catalina here launched a project to help them dubbed as “Project SK-EDUK”.

Melvin Pacursa Adurable, SK chairperson, during the Network Briefing episode today hosted by Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, said Project SK-EDUK or ‘Serbisyong Koneksyon sa Edukasyon’ was conceptualized because of some students' challenges as they attend their online classes especially internet connection.

“Sa gitna ng pandemya, ang edukasyon ang isa sa naapektuhan,kaya naman ang Sangguniang kabataan ay nagbigay ng internet connection o load sa lahat ng mga kolehiyong mayroong online classes,” he said.

Adurabel said the project offers free e-load to each student-beneficiary and hopes that it will motivate more students to strive to finish their course amid the pandemic crisis.

On the other hand, the SK council has also launched its Project SKEAP or "Sangguniang Kabataan Enrollment Assistance Program”.

The project aims to assist schoolers to enroll to thru online. (MDCTMGE//PIA 2-Isabela)
