Serbisyo Caravan held in Butay, Camiguin

GUINSILIBAN, Camiguin, Sep. 8 (PIA)--Consistent with the framework of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), Serbisyo Caravan was successfully conducted at Barangay Butay, Guinsiliban, Camiguin, August 28.

Through the Serbisyo Caravan, residents of Barangay Butay have accessed various services provided by the different local and national agencies as well as the private sectors. 

Among others, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-10 provided business information materials, business registration assistance and coaching sessions. 

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-10 provided livelihood assistance worth P100,000 to Butay Multi-Purpose Cooperative and P10,000 each to 20 identified beneficiaries as livelihood starter kit.

For their part, the Philippine National Police (PNP) provided haircut services as well as they provided food packs to all households together with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Provincial Government of Camiguin through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).

Meanwhile, the Municipal Health Office (MHO) of Guinsiliban also ensured that the basic medical attention reaches the barangay through conducting free medical consultation, flu vaccination and prenatal services.

Also present during the caravan are representatives from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Education (DepED), PhilHealth, Social Security System (SSS), Camiguin Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAMELCO) and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), which all provided services to the said barangay. (DILG Camiguin/PIA10)
