PASIG CITY, Dec. 21 (PIA) -- Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Gilbert Gapay has recognized the sacrifices of wounded soldiers and military frontliners.

Gapay recently visited the troops at the AFP Health Service Command (AFPHSC), Victoriano Luna Medical Center in Quezon City.

“To our wounded soldiers recuperating in V. Luna Medical Center and our medical professionals working here, you have no idea how much I have anticipated this prospect of visiting you all. I am sure that each and every one in here has their own tales of bravery and heroism,” Gapay said.

The AFP chief also expressed his gratitude and recognized the dedication and sacrifices made by AFP’s wounded soldiers and medical personnel who are facing their respective battles.

You have all made the AFP proud of your dedication and achievements. Batid naming na ito ay di sapat sa katapangan at sakripisyo na pinamalas ninyo, upang ang ating Inang bayan ay maging payapa at maging isang lugar na kaaya-ayang tirhan ng lahat,” he added.
