NCRPO acquires new vehicles to boost police visibility

CALOOCAN CITY, Dec. 28 (PIA) -- The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has acquired 10 new patrol vehicles to boost police services and visibility in the metropolis.

“These patrol vehicles are essential in the realization of Team NCRPO’s mission to increase police presence through checkpoints and patrol duties. Rest assured that the safety of the general public is our priority,” said NCRPO chief Police Brigadier General Vicente Danao.

Likewise, the additional vehicles for NCRPO will further boost the mobility and operational capabilities of Team NCRPO.

The ten units of patrol jeeps single cab Ax2 Toyota Hilux were procured through the Capability Enhancement Programs of the Philippine National Police.

According to NCRPO, the patrol jeeps will be distributed to the Northern Police District, Southern Police District, Manila Police District, Quezon City Police District and Presidential PNP Security Force Unit (PPSFU) to further enable NCRPO personnel in providing more efficient and effective police service to the communities and the general public as well.

The NCRPO serves the 17 local government units in Metro Manila. (PIA-NCR)
