PDEA signs MOA with PH-Chinese Charitable Assn, CGHMC for personnel's health services

CALOOCAN CITY, Dec. 20 (PIA) --The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine- Chinese Charitable Association, Inc. (PCCAI); Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) providing medical treatment and other health related services for PDEA officers and personnel.

Under the agreement, PCCAI shall provide medical aid and treatment at the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC), including surgery and major operations as well as the use of its medical equipment and facilities, from admission to discharge of PDEA operatives in all regions who sustained injuries while in the line of duty.

The signing ceremony was held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC), Medical Arts Building in Manila.

PDEA Director Wilkins M. Villanueva, MPA, CESE; Dr. Benito Goyokpin, Chairman of the Board, and Dr. James G. Dy, President and CEO of PCCAI signed the agreement and witnessed by key officials and personnel from PDEA, CGHMC and PCCAI. (PDEA/PIA-NCR)
