CSC-6 issues guidelines for transacting public

ILOILO CITY, Feb. 24 (PIA) – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office VI has issued new guidelines for its clients with transactions at its office in Mandurriao district, Iloilo City starting March 1, 2021.

On its official Facebook page, CSC-6 said it “continues to review and adjust strategy towards better public service delivery,” as it transitions to the “new normal” amid this coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

CSC-6 will accept walk-in transactions on a "first-come, first-served basis" and clients will no longer be required to book an appointment through the CSC RO VI Online Appointment System.

Online applications or requests for authentication and/or certification of Civil Service Eligibility and Grant of Eligibility under Special Laws will no longer be available, instead, these requests will be accepted at the regional and field offices.

In compliance with the commission’s policy, requests filed through the CSC field offices shall be submitted to the regional office for processing.

The field office will notify the requesting party as soon as the requested document is available for releasing.

Field offices with their own booking system may continue to require clients to schedule their transaction with the Field Office.

Likewise, minimum health protocols will also be observed in the premises, according to the aforementioned social media post.

Wearing of face mask, face shield or eye protector, hand sanitation, temperature check, and filling-out of the health declaration form will also be strictly enforced.

Those who are not feeling well are discouraged from visiting the office, the CSC 6 post said.

To limit the exposure of both clients and personnel to possible COVID-19 contamination, maximum of 25 clients for examination and eligibility-related services and 10 clients for other CSC services will be accepted per day, CSC-6 added.

For more information, clients are advised to contact CSC-6 through phone at (033) 321-1253 or e-mail at cscregion6@gmail.com. (LTP/CSC-6/CBA/PIA-6)
