BORONGAN CITY, February 3 (PIA) – The Groiler International Inc. turned-over and donated 10 boxes of assorted books worth P50-K for the learners of the DepEd Borongan City Division on February 1, 2021 at Borongan City Division.
Schools Division Supt. Bernardo Adina personally received and thanked Groiler International Inc. for the books.
According to Mr. Jessie Suerte, team leader of Groiler International Inc. for the city division they will also donate to some public and private schools for elementary and high school.
Suerte said that every school will receive two boxes of ssorted books and each teacher will receive one book.
Schools chosen were Bato Elem. School, Songco Elem. School, Taboc Elem. School, Bugas Elem. School, Maypangdan Elem. School, Tabunan Elem. School, Can-abong Elem. School, Calingatngan Elem. School, Lalawigan Central School. Eugenio S. Daza Pilot Elem. School (ESDPES), Sabang Central School, Eugenio A. Abunda Sr. Elem. School, Suribao Elem. School, Calingatngan Elem. School. .
As to the secondary schools, they are Eastern Samar National Comprehensive High School (ESNCHS), Lalawigan National High School, Maypangdan National High School, Benongawan National High School, Sta. Fe National High School, Calingatngan National High School, and Supt. Fidel E. Anacta Sr. Memorial High School.
Meanwhile, the private secondary schools are MSH Sisters Academy, Inc. and St. Mary’s College of Borongan Inc.
In his message, Mr. Ryan Cepriano, vice-president and authorized distributor of Groiler Cyclophil Educational Promotions as the COVID-19 pandemic chNGD, the educational landscape, there is now a mix of Modular Distance Learning, and Television/Radio-based instructions which aims to ensure the health, safety, but the presence of books is still a necessity since we learn more, if we read more.
“With this, we aim to help the department to enhance their reading program by providing supplementary reading materials to be distributed to each adopted school and as partner we are one in making our vision into reality to reach and inspire every child, to read more, learn more, understand themselves better and ultimately to lead better lives.
