Bambang farmers get aid from LGU

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, March 3 (PIA) - The Local Government Unit here recently gave assistance to farmers who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each farmer received Php 3,000.00 cash with Php 2,000.00 - worth of goods such as 2 trays of eggs, 4 kilos of chicken and 25 kilos of rice.

Mayor Pepito Balgos said the local government unit will be doing everything possible to provide assistance to all sectors affected by the pandemic in the municipality.

"Rest assured that your LGU is taking aggressive actions to provide various assistance as we face and battle the COVID-19 pandemic. Let us also do our part in following the minimum health protocols to prevent local transmission of the virus," he said.

Balgos said the LGU has laid down assistance for the various sectors of the town this year to enable them to cope up not only with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic but also with the previous typhoons and other concerns like the African Swine Fever(ASF). (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
