Parañaque's active COVID cases reaches 453  

PARAÑAQUE CITY, March 12 (PIA) -- Parañaque City's COVID-19 active cases as of Thursday, March 11, has reached 453, according to Mayor Edwin Olivarez in a Facebook post.

"As of today, March 11, 2021, the total number of Active Cases in the City of Parañaque is 453 (4.6 percent) including no address/unknown barangay and 67 new cases," Mayor Edwin said.

"Total confirmed cases is now 9,845, while recovered patients are 9,151 (93.0%) and deaths have a total number of 241 (2.4 percent).

The data, he said, is according to the Department of Health (DOH), Parañaque City Health Office and Parañaque City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU).

To date, here are the number of active cases per barangay:

San Dionisio - 23
San Isidro - 30
Sto Niño - 11
Tambo - 40
Vitalez - 8
BF Homes - 41
Don Bosco - 40

Unknown barangay - 1

Mayor Olivarez encouraged residents to follow the minimum health protocols when going outside in order to curb infections.

"Muling pinapaalalahanan ng ating City Government of Parañaque... na sundin ang payo ng ating gobyerno sa ilalim ng "General Community Quarantine" at manatili lamang sa kani-kanilang tahanan kung walang importanteng gagawin sa labas at sundin ang mga guidelines na ipinapatupad ng ating pamahalaan upang maiwasan ang pagkahawa at pagka-expose sa COVID-19," he said.
