NV PSWDO gives help for sick, poor villagers

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, May 4 (PIA) - The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) is currently giving away financial assistance to sick and poor villagers in the province.

PSWD Officer Flor Granada said the financial assistance is given to Novo Vizcayanos through their Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS).

The regular AICS activity which was conducted last week at the Pasalubong Center in barangay Magsaysay in this town already benefited 246 villagers.

"These recipients were dialysis patients and those suffering from chronic illnesses like cancer, epilepsy and HIV, among others," she said.

Granada said the AICS activity will continue as scheduled to help more Novo Vizcayanos in the province. (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
