Police Cavaliers pitch in P5.2M to Bayanihan Fund

PASIG CITY, May 2 (PIA) -- The Police Cavaliers Association, Inc. turned over their donation for the Bayanihan Fund Challenge of the Philippine National Police (PNP). 

PNP Chief Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa received the total amount of P5,250,000.00 Thursday at the PNP Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City to help the most vulnerable in this time of public health emergency.

The #TeamPNP Bayanihan Fund Challenge is a project of PNP Chief Gamboa and implemented by the PNP Directorate for Police Community Relations which aims to raise P200 million aid to help underprivileged individuals.  

Meanwhile, the PNPA Alumni Association, Inc. (PNPAAAI) also turned-over the second tranche of their donation amounting to P316,000. Earlier, the PNPAAAI also gave over P3.4 million donation for the Bayanihan Fund, while P662,300.00 was directly deposited to the PNP Account by the different Chapters and PNPA Classes making the total of PNPAAAI donation of P4,464,100.00 to the Bayanihan Fund Challenge.
