CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Nov. 23 (PIA) - The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Isabela has reached out to families affected of flooding in the municipalities of Tumauini, Sta. Maria and Naguilian recently.
Through its Project I-CARE (Isabela for Community Assistance and Relief), in partnership with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the team distributed at least 720 relief packs to the residents in the three towns.
Winston Singun, DTI Isabela head said at least 234 relief packs were distributed at barangay San Rafael, in Sta. Maria town, 266 relief packs at barangay Malamag West in Tumauini town and 221 relief packs in Naguilian town.
“We thank PCCI Isabela President Carlo Agcaoili for joining us in our drive to help our flood-affected residents in Isabela,” Singun said.
He said it is heartwarming to see the spark of hope to the affected residents who suffered from the nature's wrath and to the people who shared their resources in helping the people in need. (MDCT/MGE/PIA 2-Isabela)
