NV cops ask support for blood letting

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Feb. 5 (PIA) - Officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in the province are seeking multi-sectoral support for the upcoming conduct of their Blood Letting activity this month.

Provincial Director Police Colonel Ranser Evasco said the Nueva Vizcaya Police Office (NVPPO) will conduct the Blood Letting activity on February 18 at the Region 2 Trauma and Medical Center (R2TMC) in this town.

He said their Blood Letting Program which is one of their best practices will carry the theme "Give Blood Save Life".

"This will be participated by our policemen in the province and various agencies and sectors of the society. We are asking your support to this Blood Letting Program," Evasco said.

 He added that the activity aims to promote healthy lifestyle and to ensure the availability of blood supply during emergencies that will benefit persons who are in dire need.

"This is open for volunteers who are willing to give their blood for others. We welcome your blood donation," Evasco said. (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
